Sixty two students have been arrested, after a senior prank at Teaneck High School early this morning.

Police tell NBC New York a burglar alarm was tripped at the school around 2:30 a.m.  When they arrived, police found the school trashed, as students had flipped over desks, urinated in the hallways and put Vaseline on door knobs.

"I've been a police officer 19 years, and this is the craziest thing I've ever seen," said Sergeant John Garland.

Sixty two students were rounded up, including 38 juveniles.  Some of the students told police they were participating in a senior prank.

Garland said students could now face burglary and criminal mischief charges.

"They're learning the hard way that it's not too funny," he said.

Teaneck High School is open today, despite the damage.
