New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is holding his first town hall event since the Bridge-Gate scandal broke.  The meeting in Middletown has twice been postponed because of the weather.

Christie is touting his plans for $1.4 billion in Hurricane Sandy relief funds.  Residents may ask about the lane closures at the George Washington Bridge though.

On Wednesday, a top Port Authority official apologized for the scandal.

"On behalf of the Board of Commissioners, we are deeply sorry for inconvenience caused to our traveleres," said Chairman David Samson.

The meeting was the first since documents became public, connecting the lane closures to Christie's administration.

A New Jersey legislative committee continues to investigate.  Governor Christie denies any involvement in the lane closures.
