Bill de Blasio, who has a commanding 15-point lead over Christine Quinn in the latest NYC mayoral poll, is looking to make the most of his son's new found popularity. Ever since de Blasio featured his 15-year-old son Dante de Blasio in a TV campaign ad, his son's hair has become an Internet sensation. Now, de Blasio is trying to leverage the popularity of Dante’s Afro to spark a social media campaign on Twitter.

De Blasio has featured his biracial family including his wife, Chirlane McCray and their two children Dante and 18-year-old daughter Chiara, on numerous campaign stops. De Blasio is now trying to get supporters to tweet using the hashtag #GoWithTheFro to help spread the word about his campaign for mayor.

According to the New York Daily News, there have been some critics of de Blasio using his son and his now famous fro to promote his political campaign for mayor, but it's clear Dante's hair has plenty of supporters as well.
