At 9:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, firefighters were called to put out a two-alarm fire in a three-story house in Astoria, Queens.

The fire raged as smoke rushed out of the second and third story windows. Firefighters on the scene had to use a tower ladder to fight the flames from above.

There is not word yet of how the fire started or if anyone was injured.
