Fort Lee students could be forced to go to school on a pair of Saturdays because of the large number of snow days this winter.
The Record reports that the school district has to make up two days of class after using all of its snow days.  Interim Superintendent Paul Saxton has proposed having students attend half day sessions on March 15 and March 29.
The district could also shorten spring break or add days to the end of the school year.  But those options also pose problems, since families have planned vacations and there are scheduled construction projects for the summer.
The options were discussed during a hearing Monday night.  The board will decide on February 24.
