There’s more trouble for those costumed characters in Times Square.

The New York Post reports two Iron Men, a Spider-Man and an Elmo were busted over the weekend on disorderly conduct charges.  The Spider-Man was also accused of grabbing a person to pose for a picture.

The crackdown comes following a series of incidents involving costumed characters who become too aggressive.  They’ve often been accused of shaking down tourists for money after taking a picture with them.

Over the weekend, police handed out fliers that read, “Photos with costumed characters are free.  Tipping is optional.”
