Repair work to the George Washington Bridge's upper-level lanes begins Monday night and is outlined to last for the next 12 weeks.

The repairs are a continuation of an effort that began last summer. The lanes will be closed during the overnight hours of 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. every Monday through Thursday. On Fridays the lanes will be closed for construction from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m., and there will be no closures on Saturdays and Sundays.

Although the closures are happening during off-hours, traffic and delays are to be expected throughout the process.
