Not so fast Eliot Spitzer. Just when it seemed like we wouldn't be seeing the former city comptroller candidate’s name in the headlines for a while, Spitzer now finds himself in trouble for placing illegal campaign posters all over the city. The New York Daily News reports that Spitzer will have to pay about $45,000 after receiving 228 penalties from the Sanitation Department for illegal placards.

According to the Daily News, the candidate with the second highest fine was a former sanitation worker, John Whitehead, who could pay as much as $28,000.
