Carrie Underwood To Join NFL Stars for New Sunday Night Football Open

Country music and football fans alike have been waiting all summer for Sunday night, and the wait is almost over. Carrie Underwood is set to take the helm of NBC’s Sunday Night Football for her sixth-consecutive season, returning to perform “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” at the open of each broadcast. 

Joining Carrie for the signature open will be 10 NFL greats who include Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and the reigning Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. Among them, the NFL stars account for 19 Pro Bowl selection, five Super Bowl rings and four first-round draft picks.
