Prince Harry Says He Would Stop 'The Crown' Before The Series Got To Him

Fans of The Crown, on Netflix may be devastated to hear that Prince Harry isn't exactly thrilled about the show's existence. Apparently he is already worried about how his family drama with be portrayed on the show. He joked that he would "stop it" before the show could "get to me," according to his biographer.

The Duke of Sussex was worried about his part in the show when he met with biographer Angela Levin for her book, “Harry: Conversations with the Prince,” she told the BBC.

“Harry, when I went to interview him at the palace, the first thing he said to me when he shook my hand was, ‘Are you watching “The Crown”?'” she recalled, saying she “felt very embarrassed” by the question.

“He said, ‘I’m going to make sure I stop it before they get to me,'” the author added with a smile.

This comes as Netflix claims they would love to work with Harry and Meghan Markle now that they aren't going to be tied to their royal duties. “Who wouldn’t be interested? Yes, for sure,” said the streaming service’s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos.

The show’s historical consultant, Robert Lacey, told the BBC that he would love to help creators of the show write out the current "Megxit" scandal... “We don’t know what ‘The Crown’ holds in store in that respect,” he said.
