Today a horrible tragedy occured when a Malaysian Airlines commercial plane was shot down in Ukraine and 295 passengers were killed.
Just hours after the news broke, actor Jason Biggs tweeted the following tweets:
"Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?"
"In all seriousness, tho- HOW DO YOU MISTAKENLY SHOOT DOWN A COMMERCIAL PLANE?! Ugh."
Many people found the joke to be insensitive to the tragedy and he received a lot of blow back. Jason then tweeted:
"Hey all you "too soon" assholes- it's a fucking joke. You don't have to think it's funny, or even be on my twitter page at all."
He later decided to delete the tweets and tweeted this:
