The Voice is returning for its 15th season next month, and on Monday (August 6), the singing competition announced who'd be helping out its coaches in the upcoming season. It's no surprise that Blake Shelton would enlist a country heavy hitter to help out his team, which usually consists of most of the country-leaning artists who make it past the blind auditions, and Access revealed Keith Urban would be his adviser during Season 15's battle round. However, Kelly Clarkson's giving Blake a run for his money by going a little country herself and recruiting Thomas Rhett as her adviser, E! reports. Last season Kelly was determined to sway country artists to her team, though it's not like she really needs to alter her game plan at all—she won last season despite it being her first time in a Voice coach chair.
Jennifer Hudson will also be returning to the show, with Halsey as her adviser, and of course Adam Levine, who enrolled a former coach of The Voice to help out his team: Cee Lo Green. Let's just hope no one brings up MTV, the VMAs, or Childish Gambino on set—it might give Adam flashbacks.
