For New Yorkers, the MTA is THE way to get around the city. It's the system many of us rely on to get home, to work, and to various parts of the city that would otherwise be too far or too expensive to reach without using public transportation. So, the MTA has a big job for the city and its 8 million residents. But, with great power comes great responsibility, and the MTA tends to be consistently unreliable and frustrating, becoming a meme to many New Yorkers
