This Is The Only Episode Of 'Friends' You Need To Watch

Ten seasons of memories, but only one episode of Friends that captures the entirety of the show? Seems impossible right? According to co-creator Marta Kauffman, there is an episode that does just that.

"'The One With The Embryos,' That, for me, really says it all," Kauffman tells Vulture at the Producers Guild of America Awards. The episode, that occurs in season 4, episode 12, of the series, shares Rachel [Jennifer Aniston] and Monica [Courtney Cox] attempt to prove they know their friends and neighbors Joey [Matt LeBlanc] and Chandler [Matthew Perry] better. The duo square off in a Jeopardy type game created by Ross [David Schwimmer] in which we get iconic lines like "Viva las Gayges," and "transpondster!" In another plot of the episode you have Phoebe [Lisa Kudrow] becoming pregnant with her brother and wide's child after an embryo transfer.

“It had heart, it was funny, it was emotional,” Kauffman adds. “That, for me, is one of the iconic episodes.”

As far as an official reunion of the show is concerned, there is nothing official yet.... although everyone seems to want to make one happen after the show celebrated it's 25th anniversary last year. The show has also been in the news recently for being taken off Netflix and will be added to NBC's new streaming service 'Peacock' coming July 15, 2020.
