TikToker Addison Rae is taking over the music scene putting out her new dance song Obsessed. Addison sat down with Maxwell on Zoom to talk all about her new song, her mental health and being involved in the 'She's All That' remake!
"Life is coming at me so fast, and I’m loving it," Addison tells Maxwell about her rise to fame. Now with new music out, Addison is really living out her dream. "The best way to describe it is a literal dream come true," she shares with Maxwell, "I had Hannah Montana dolls.... Justin Bieber was someone that I loved..... Song and music and writing has been such a big part of my life." However, Addison did find that picking the first song for her to release was a tough one. "I love this song so much. It was hard to find myself in the music. But when Obsessed came about it was so easy to know that was the one I wanted to put out first."
Addison continues her chat with Maxwell talking about how she deals with haters or trolls on social media. Something she tells herself is "People perceive me only as the person that is in their eyes. I have to remember at the end of the day that people don’t know things about me."
Addison also spent her time in quarantine filming the 'She's All That' remake. "I was honored to be a part of it but it also came with a lot of pressure." She continues, "I think I prepared myself as much as I could. I made sure it was the best that I could make it."
