The California couple responsible for igniting the massive El Dorado wildfire last year with pyrotechnics used in a gender reveal are now facing some equally as massive criminal charges. Refugio Jimenez Jr. and Angela Jimenez could serve up to 20 years in prison on manslaughter charges.

The fire was started after a device that's supposed to release blue or pink colored smoke malfunctioned and ignited a field of dry grass. The fire would go on to burn more than 36 square miles and destroy 5 homes in the process.

The manslaughter charges come after firefighter Charles Morton was killed while battling the fire.
