At one point or another we've all seen one of those moving billboards. It's usually an ad for a furniture store's "Going Out of Business" sale strapped to the side of a yucky old truck, but this one is a little different.
Fans on their way to a Carolina Panthers game in North Carolina had their heads spinning when this very unconventional ad drove by.
Look at it, then look at it some more. At first glance it looks like an anti-vax stunt, encouraging people to skip the COVID-19 vaccine. But at a closer look, its actually the opposite. The ad for a the Willmore Funeral Home is meant to show you what will happen if you don't get the vaccine, you'll end up on their doorstep.
The thing is, that funeral home doesn't actually exist.
An ad agency, fed up with the public's reluctance to get vaccinated and protect themselves and their community, pulled a pro-vax stunt. The BooneOakley Agency even set up a website for the fake business. What does the home page say? Get vaccinated now. If not, see you soon.
