"One Tree Hill" star Bevin Prince is mourning the loss of her husband after he was struck by lightening over the weekend.
William Friend, Prince's husband, was near Masonboro Island in North Carolina celebrating the Fourth Of July when he was hit by a lightening strike. Friend was only 33 years old.
WECT/NBC say the deputies performed CPR for 20 minutes on him, however he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A release from Bisnow read, "Friends and former colleagues marveled at Friend's ability and willingness to take on new challenges — whether or not he was ready. He demonstrated that tenacity at an early age."
Bevin and William were married in 2016. Bevin was a regular on the hit teen soap opera, "One Tree Hill" from 2003-2012.
