Many artists who admired and befriended Lil Peep mourned the loss of the young rapper, who passed away today (November 16) at 21 years old. Bella Thorne, who briefly dated Peep this year, expressed her shock and grief over the tragic news.
In a heartbreaking video, a tearful Thorne says, “I wanted to say, anybody out there who’s a Lil Peep fan, you guys know how talented he was. You guys know how great he was. Well, he was even more fucking great as a person.” The video ends with Thorne shaking her head, processing the loss of her beloved friend.
The video has since been removed from her Twitter, but she also expressed this anguish in a series of tweets, saying: “F**k I don’t know what to say. Peep you deserved more out of life. Life didn’t do you great justice."
Lil Peep's cause of death remains undisclosed but is speculated to be an overdose. Many celebrities have taken to Twitter to pay tribute.
