Jason Momoa was recently subjected to body-shaming when the Game of Thrones alum was spotted with less than chiseled abs during a vacation in Italy. However, the social media fuss doesn't mean a thing to the star.
Ahead of his 40th birthday on Wednesday (August 1), the actor was spotted at LAX returning from his surprise birthday celebration and asked if he was offended by all the "dad bodtalk. "No, that's alright," Momoa said with a big smile, while patting his stomach in reference to his Guinness-themed birthday cake. "Tell TMZ that I'll show off my dad bod soon enough," he continued on, before getting comfortable in his car and closing the door. Scroll on below to watch the encounter.
Over the weekend, Momoa was caught off guard when an early birthday party was organized in his honor and included appearances by his former GoT costar Emilia Clarke and former Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder. In the video, which was shared on his account, viewers see the roll out to the big surprise. At one point in the montage, he Facetimes his wife, Lisa Bonet, to show her the festivity, which included a slideshow that his friends put together. Click here for more on that!
