Ariana Grande, Normani & Nicki Minaj Join Forces On New Song 'Bad To You'

Ariana Grande, Normani and Nicki Minaj are three bad angels on their new collab “Bad to You.”

The lyric video for the trio’s team-up dropped last night in tandem with the arrival of the original motion picture soundtrack for the upcoming Charlie’s Angels film on which the song appears. Pairing dreamy vocals from the two songbirds and hot rhymes by the Harajuku Barbie, the sensual, reggae-inspired jam raises the question: “Why are you only good to me when I’m bad to you?”

The “Motivation” musician opens the record with the seductive verse: “Baby, I’ve been feedin’ the addiction/ Flyin’ from there and back, felt like an acrobat/ Brown-eyed, so I fell into submission.” As Normani soars on the pre-chorus, Grande carries the same sexy energy, singing: “Stopped thinking like a victim/ This time, I’ll throw it back/ Boy, can you handle that?”

Minaj does the honors of closing out the last verse over a buzz bass beat, rapping: “I tell him, ‘Who is you cuffin’?/ I got him huffin’ and puffin’/ He keep on callin’ me ‘baby’/Like I’m a bun in the oven.”

“Bad to You” is just one of the myriad of tunes on the star-studded soundtrack. Grande, who already appears on the Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey-assisted “Don’t Call Me Angel,” also joined forces on the previously-teased “Got Her Own” with Victoria Monet, “Nobody” with Chaka Khan and flies solo on “How I Look On You.”
