Kate Middleton Debuts New Look In Video Call From Her Country Home

Kate Middleton has a brand new 'do!

On Thursday (January 21), the Duchess of Cambridge debuted a new look during one of her virtual royal engagements. Instead of her usual bouncy curls and blond highlights, Kate styled her hair straight and sleek. It also appeared that she's forgone her lighter tone for a darker brunette color.

Not only did Kate change up her hairstyle, but her wardrobe was also looking sleeker in the video call from her country home in Norfolk. Instead of donning a bright color or floral pattern dress, Kate rocked a black suit jacket over a white blouse.

During the video chat, Kate connected with a group of nurses who work a the U.K. hospital that distributed the world's first COVID-19 vaccine. "You hear time and time again about the amazing things nurses up and down the country are doing — going that extra mile," Kate said to the nurses during the call. "It's the things that are not part of the training..but the things that come from your heart, and I think that's what matters so much now: these acts of kindness to the patients you're looking after."
