Curfew for Bars and Restaurants Extended in New York

Beginning on Monday, bars and restaurants in New York can stay open until midnight.

Before now, there was an 11 p.m. curfew because of the pandemic. Much of the state still has a 75 percent limit on capacity at restaurants. The exception is in New York City where there’s a 50 percent capacity limit.

It’s unclear when the capacity limit and the curfew will be lifted.
