Katie Couric says she is comfortable with everything she wrote in her new memoir “Going There,” saying she has “absolutely” no regrets about writing it.

“I love my book.Anyone who’s read it in my circle of friends and acquaintances are really giving me positive feedback,” Couric told WOR’s “Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning.”

The book has caused controversy with some of the stories about people she’s worked with in the past. Couric says she doesn’t pay attention to the negativity..

“Honestly, these are - no offense - but trashy tabloids looking to throw some flames and get some clicks,” Couric said.

Couric is launching a book tour that begins on October 28th in Boston. On October 29th she'll be at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. There are also stops in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Austin, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Nashville. Tickets are on sale now. Special guests will join Couric at every stop, including Jennifer Garner, Chance The Rapper, SNL's Chloe Fineman & Melissa Villasenor, Kara Swisher, Ina Garten, Leslie Jordan, Brad Paisley & Kimblerly Williams-Paisley, Savannah Guthrie and Tan France.

On the tour, Couric will chronicle her personal story and revisit events that shaped our lives such as 9/11, the Boston Marathon bombing, gun violence, cancer advocacy and the Me Too movement. She will also highlight local grassroots charities in every city.

Couric is an award-winning journalist, a New York Times best-selling author and the co-founder of Stand Up To Cancer. Since 2008, the charity has raised more than $600 million to support research and science that has led to nine new FDA approved therapies.
