Ed Sheeran has found a way to deal with complaining neighbors, and it’s proving quite costly. According to the UK press, the singer just purchased two houses next door to his London apartment after neighbors complained about “loud music and parties.”
Ed reportedly spent about $5 million on the two properties last year after finding out they were available. He also purchased an apartment above the restaurant he purchased in Notting Hill just to be safe for the future.
“Ed's had neighbors grumbling about noise before so when he got a chance to buy up the two houses next to his London home, he jumped at the chance,” a source shares. “Ed has not only made a wise investment but is limiting the chance of people grumbling about loud music or parties.” The insider adds, “He also decided to buy the flat above his restaurant because that could have been a massive sticking point for the business going forward.”
The purchases add to Ed’s already pretty large property empire, which reportedly includes 22 different properties across the UK.
