Hunter Olds is a totally different person today than he was a few years ago. There are a few major changes, including his incredible 160-pound weight loss, but the biggest change? He's an entirely different guy.
The 23-year old explained how he's been overweight his entire life, maxing out at 350-pounds by the end of his freshman year of college. Until he attended a sporting event in 2014, Olds was convinced that he would just be overweight his entire life.
“I was at in an Indians baseball game with some of my friends, and … [the seat] had the armrest, and I couldn't fit in the seat. It hurt to sit down,” he said. “I knew I had to change right then.”
Starting that day, Olds downloaded the MyFitnessPal app, cutting out processed foods and sugars totally, and strictly counting his calorie intake. After he lost the first ten pounds, he found that his was actually able to move around a lot easier than before. That's when he took his weight loss to the next level and started running.
“I really grew a passion for running,” he said. “It was just something I could use to clear my head. I didn't have to think about anything except for running.”
In just over a year he dropped from 350-pounds to 190-pounds, shaving off almost half of his entire body weight.
This dude's journey is so motivational to anyone trying to make a huge change in their life. Take a look at his before and after pics below:
