Post Malone Got "Kicked Out" of Hip-Hop Grammy Category

Post Malone has reportedly been removed from the Hip-Hop category for the Grammy's this year.

Posty tried to submit "Beerbongs & Bentleys" for Hip-Hop Grammy consideration but it was moved into the Pop section!

The move into the Pop section didn't seem to bother him too much. In an interview he talked about how he believes that there isn't different genres anymore adding, "I like everything—metal, old country, hip-hop, funk, and R&B. What I’m not into is boxes." He also said, "I don’t put people in boxes. There are no genres anymore. If a song makes you feel nice or it makes you feel sad or if it makes you feel anything, what does it really matter what category it is?”

I think that there are a bunch of artists that feel the same way. Shawn Mendes as said similar things about there not being a specific genre and if something makes you feel good then why should it be put into a category.

What do you think about this? Should they've moved Posty to another category?
