Lady Gaga Partners With Starbucks to Advocate for Kindness

Lady Gaga has been a huge advocate for the LGBTQ community and for youth empowerment for quite some time now.  Her Born This Way Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on these two issues, among many others, to help support and provide resources for them.

Now, the singer's most recent partnership in the BTW Foundation is with Starbucks.  This was formed to simply spread the message of kindness.  They have teamed up to create the "Cups of Kindness," a plan to raise funds for youth programs that advocate kindness, create positive environments and offer mental health resources.

“We’re healthier and happier when we live our lives with compassion and our communities are stronger when we treat one another with generosity and respect,” said Lady Gaga in a statement to Starbucks.  For the initiative, Starbucks will donate 25 cents from every Cups of Kindness beverage sold at participating stores in the U.S. and Canada from June 13 to June 19.
