Hey Violet Breaks Down What To Expect From Their Debut Album

Hey Violet stopped by the Z100 studios to talk with Mo' Bounce about their debut album From the Outside, which is finally available for fans to listen to. The highly anticipated album has 12 songs on it, with Rena Lovelis saying the group "poured their hearts and souls" into over the past 2 years. Not only are they excited to release a full body of work, they're relieved their fans can finally listen to all their new music.

They also opened up about their new single "Break My Heart," which Mo' revealed he's loving for the summer season. Miranda also revealed that there's one song on the album, though she didn't say the name, with a punk vibe she's really feeling. While they were worried about getting backlash for calling a song "punk," they're not too worried about what genre their music is considered to be. The most important thing to Hey Violet is being themselves.
