It's baaaaaaack! Applebee's brought back it's popular Dollarita that debuted this past October at the chain across the country. The drink is back at participating locations throughout the month of April after it became quite the crowd pleaser during its original release.
Patrick Kirk, Applebee's VP of Beverage Innovation (that's a thing?) said...
Margaritas are extremely popular with our guests, and our Dollarita is the most refreshing drink money can buy...We first introduced the Dollarita to America last October, and we're excited to ring it back in April as a reason to celebrate the return of spring.

A quick, simple drink, the Dollarita is made with tequila, margarita mix, and served on the rocks. The promotion is only happening at participating locations, but it should be pretty easy to find a restaurant that'll serve them, considering there are over 2,000 Applebee's locations around the globe.
There's been some speculation that these drinks are super watered down, but that myth was debunked...
a viral video claims that the #dollarita is mostly water but the bartender who leaked the video said it was 1 part tequila to 1 part margarita mix to 3 parts water. That's still an oz of tequila in a 5 oz drink.— comixthomas (@comixthomas) April 5, 2018
Can't believe how many "not impressed," "only 5oz," & "mostly water" comments I'm seeing about #DOLLARITA at @Applebees. My God, it's an alcoholic drink for $1. What did you expect?— Greg Pearson (@GregsonPea) April 5, 2018
Throw back a few, it's cheap bitches.#ThursdayThoughts
