The reviews are coming for Taylor Swift's Reputation Tour and they're pretty good. Rolling Stone called it her "finest yet," and Variety calls it a "winning" performance, with just 5 shows under her belt, it's safe to say that Taylor is....killing it?
With powerhouse opening acts, Camila Cabello and Charli XCX, plus the anticipation of surprise guests that could pop up at any moment (see Shawn Mendes and Troye Sivan), how could you resist snatching up some tickets? Clearly, no one else can resist either!
Take a wild guess at how much Taylor has brought in so far...10 million? Higher. 25 million? Higher. 40 million? Hi--
Its 54. 54 million so far. She's made $54 million.
Here's the breakdown...The tour kicked off in Phoenix where it broke records for the venue both in attendance and revenue. She topped Metallica's August 2017 show by almost $2 million and beat out One Direction's audience size from 2014 by 2,600 seats.
She pulled in $14 million in San Fransisco where she sold 100,000 tickets, then another $16 million from her 2 shows in SoCal. Her show in Seattle made almost $9 million plus another $8 million in Denver.
So yeah, so far she's brought in $54 million in ticket sales and that's just the first 5 shows of her tour. She's got another 6 months on the road, traveling around he world she's estimated to pull in around $400 million in ticket sales.
We see you Taylor. Rock it, girl.
