Jamess Murray's Novel Has Characters Based On Impractical Jokers Cast-Mates

James Murray of Impractical Jokers stopped by the Z100 studios to talk to me about his new book 'The Awakening.' One of my favorite guys to have in the studio, Murr always brings the jokes. This time though we talked a little more seriously about his book out now.

"This book is no joke. Get ready to not sleep tonight. Awakened does exactly what it advertises. Scary amazing fun," says Brad Meltzer, bestselling author of The Escape Artist. This science fiction novel is 304 pages that will leave you completely freaked! The novel takes place in New York as the city unveils its newest subway line, that connects the city with communities across the Hudson River. Major players are at the subway's inaugural run including the city's mayor and president of the United States. As the train comes closer to the stop the train's cars are empty, the interior is drenched in blood. Apparently we've woken up something living beneath New York City and now... CHAOS!

Yea ok, not crying or sweating in fear over here... Everyone's excited about the novel including Murr's cast-mates, and former high school classmates, Joseph "Joe" Gatto, Brian "Q" Quinn, and Salvatore "Sal" Vulcano. According to Murr, each one of them is represented in the novel somehow but it's up to us to figure out which character is who.

So get reading!!!!
