WATCH: Man Learns He's Receiving Long Awaiting Lung Transplant

Kevin D'Agostino was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth. Earlier this week, his family woke him up in the middle of the night to deliver the news that he would receive a long-awaited lung transplant. You can see the wave of emotion wash over Kevin's face as he receives the life changing news in the video that his brother Michael posted to Facebook and Instagram.

"No way mom, not tonight! NO WAY!" he shouts in the video, trying to grasp the wonderful news.

The video, along with a message of thanks to the staff at Loyola University Medical Center and an update on Kevin's status, has been viewed thousands of times and is starting to make the rounds on the internet.

Kevin suffered an unrelated brain injury in 2016 and continued his fight with Cystic Fibrosis since, ultimately needing a lung transplant.

His brother has continued to post updates, including a Facebook video of him taking laps of the hospital after coming out of an 8 hour surgery.

This got me hard in the tear ducts. We all take just breathing for granted, and he’s flipping out that he’s able to get new lungs. Just when we think things are stressful or not going exactly how we want all the time, we are reminded with videos like this. Life is fragile. Life is precious. Life is about THESE moments. Not our jobs or our things.
