Ariana Grande broke lots of records with her "Thank U, Next" single and album and is looking to make an even bigger profit from it as well.
She recently submitted the application for a trademark of "Ariana Grande Thank U, Next" on April 2. Apparently Ariana has hopes to use the phrase to eventually sell everything from lotions to perfumes.
While we're on this topic let me just remind you of all the Thank U, Next stats:
- 360,000 units were earned during the first week
- Over 307 million on-demand audio streams
- Thank U, Next singles spent 11 weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100
- 12 songs from the album made it on the Hot 100
Also a reminder that she is only the second artist in Hot 100 history to occupy the top 3 spots simultaneously.
