Swoon! Singing Surgeon Dr. Elvis Confirms He’s Single

Masked Singer star and viral sensation Dr. Elvis Francois joined Ryan Seacrest on-air on Tuesday, November 24, after being named to People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive 2020 list earlier this week.

Dr. Elvis is a 35-year-old orthopedic surgeon who became a singing sensation in 2018 for his musical performances with his colleague William Robinson, including their version of Mike Yung's "Alright" and his cover of John Lennon's "Imagine," which was filmed early in the pandemic.

“It’s been a crazy past few months,” he shared. “
So this has been a pretty special way to kind of take a step back and put a smile on people’s faces.”

The Meharry Medical College graduate, who recently finished his three-month spine surgery fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, the teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School and orthopedic surgery resident at the Mayo Clinic, confirmed to Seacrest what we’ve all been wondering: yes, he’s single.

“My mom has asked me the same question every day of the week,” he jokingly shared. “
I am single. I basically live at the hospital
I’m married to medicine I guess.”

Dr. Elvis added that it’s been a whirlwind since his appearance on The Masked Singer.

“To be honest, it’s hard to put into words,” he shared. “A few months ago if you told me this would happen I would have called you a crazy person.”
