This is a warning for the residents of Clinton, Connecticut: A local resident who attended the Joel School “Monster Mash” Halloween event Saturday night opened a box of Dots candy, and assorted colors in the box, then glued it shut.
Although we do not know if the candy was actually tampered, the box was and this could be used as an example for parents everywhere to make sure their children's candy is completely safe. Look at the above picture to see the signs of a tamped candy box.
The town of Clinton urges anyone who knows anything about their current situation to contact the Clinton Police at 860-669-0451 and report this. Officer Brian Corbin is investigating this matter.
