Fifth Harmony Releases Second Statement About Camila Cabello Departure

Fifth Harmony released a statement late Sunday night revealing Camila Cabello would be leaving the band. Normani, Dinah-Jane, Lauren, and Ally-Brooke heavily suggested that their former fifth member had handled the situation poorly by having her representatives quit for her. Cabello ended up releasing her own statement that claimed the exact opposite, citing "long, much needed conversations about the future" had prepared them for her departure.

Well, the four remaining 5H members are back with a second comment about Camila Cabello's departure from the group that made them famous. They posted the long statement to their Instagram account. The girls slammed Camila's individual statement, writing that "after months of rejection from her and her team, these supposed lengthy conversations never happened."

The girls reinforced their desire to continue Fifth Harmony without one of it's founding members. "We are excited to continue to put positivity into the world and light into people's lives," the girls said towards the end of their statement. "The four of us recognize that we would be NOTHING without Fifth Harmony and we will continue to honor that."

Although they plan to continue as a foursome, they admitted it was difficult to watch their bandmate walk away "from this special world we've built."

The reaction to all this drama has been pretty mixed. Some fans have taken to posting snake emojis in the comments of Camila's last Instagram post, pictured above, which has a caption that reads "I'll only have you if you're sweeter than my solitude."

Whatever happens next for all 5 girls,  we hope they find a way to move past this difficult time. Then again, we're still waiting for that 1D reunion, too...
