The Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) is launching a very exciting opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in the culinary arts or hospitality industry. After the record success of their 2015 #CulinaryVoice Scholarship Challenge, which saw 1.1 million votes cast worldwide, ICE is expanding their search for the next generation of culinary talent. ICE will now award 18 scholarships totaling more than $212,000 as part of its 2017 #CulinaryVoice Scholarship Challenge.
So, what exactly is this scholarship challenge? ICE has partnered with celebrity chefs and food stars Marcus Samuelsson, Ted Allen, Donatella Arpaia, and Duff Goldman to challenge the nation to enter to win a scholarship to attend the Institute of Culinary Education. The winners will study in one of ICE's award winning career programs under the guidance of ICE's industry-leading chefs and instructors.
If you're interested in applying, all you have to do is upload an original one-minute video at http://www.ice.edu/culinaryvoice. The video should demonstrate your creativity, passion for food, service or entrepreneurial flair. The top 50 #CulinaryVoice Scholarship Challenge finalists in each category will be determined by a worldwide public vote, and the scholarship winners will be chosen by an exclusive panel of ICE instructors.
One full scholarship and two partial scholarships will be awarded in each of ICE’s six award-winning career training programs. These programs are: Culinary Arts, Pastry & Baking Arts, Restaurant & Culinary Management, Hospitality Management, Bread Baking and Cake Decorating. If you're interested in any of these programs, hurry up and upload your video!
Good luck to all the aspiring chefs and bakers out there! Make sure you apply ASAP!
