Netflix announced that it's runaway hit The OA has been renewed for a second season. The mysterious, supernatural thrilled premiered (without ANY announcements) in mid December. Just 8 weeks later, the show is getting ready for "Part II." Netflix dropped a short teaser on YouTube, with the caption "something always survives."
No official release date was announced, which isn't surprising. Fans can probably expect the show to drop totally announced once again. If you haven't watched the first season of The OA, you should definitely consider catching up. It's one of the most binge-worthy shows on Netflix right now. While it flew a little more under the radar than it's predecessor Stranger Things, the two shows have a similar vibe. If you were obsessed with Eleven, then Prairie (aka The OA) might be your new fave.
