Emma Watson is on world wide press tour for her upcoming live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. In between all the red carpets, Emma sat down with Vanity Fair magazine to talk about...pretty much everything. From growing up in the spotlight to her passion for activism, Emma bared it all in this insightful interview. She even confirmed that she does have a boyfriend, although, she was reluctant to offer up many more details other than the fact that he does exist.
"I want to be consistent: I can’t talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can’t have it both ways.” Watson told Vanity Fair about maintaining her privacy. “I’ve noticed, in Hollywood, who you’re dating gets tied up into your film promotion and becomes part of the performance and the circus. I would hate anyone that I were with to feel like they were in any way part of a show or an act."
While Emma isn't opening up too much about her boyfriend, the Internet is already on the case. Her fans believe she's dating a handsome man named Mack who works in tech in Silicon Valley. If that's the case, he seems pretty great.
Maybe her boyfriend will make an appearance at one of the Beauty and the Beast premieres. If he does, though, we'll probably never know. Emma is just that good at keeping her private life private.
