MTV has announced plans to bring back the popular reality show: Fear Factor.
The show originally launched in 2001 and ran for six seasons, as well as an additional season in 2011 thanks to NBC. Besides the show now airing on MTV, there will be a few other changes including making Ludacris the new host, taking Joe Rogan's old spot.
According to the press release, there will be 12 episodes in the reboot and will be inspired by urban legends, popular scary movies, and viral videos from today's pop-culture. The episodes will be an hour long featuring eight contestants in four teams of two competing for $50,000.
The Fear Factor reboot premieres Tuesday, May 30 at 10 p.m. ET.
