Demi Lovato has settled a lawsuit over her 2015 song “Stars.” The band Sleigh Bells sued the her claiming the song was a rip-off of their song “Infinity Guitars,” arguing that the similarities between the two tracks, "transcend the realm of coincidence.”
Producers of the song insisted that they did not sample the Sleigh Bells tune, and said “Demi was also not involved with the production.”
Details of the settlement were not disclosed.

Remember when Justin Timberlake got in trouble for taking a selfie while voting in Memphis? Well, apparently the whole hubbub surrounding it sparked Tennessee lawmakers to take action.
The state Senate just voted 30-0 in favor of a bill that would make it okay to take a picture while voting, as long as a ballot isn’t included in the picture. Folks also won’t be able to use a flash or noise on their phones or take photos of others.
The whole J.T. incident was what prompted him to introduce the bill.
Music fans and celebrities will be headed to the desert today for the opening weekend of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival. The headliners: Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga.

Harry Styles fans won’t have to wait much longer for his debut album. He announced that the album, “Harry Styles,” will drop on May 12th.
Harry also revealed the track list for the record, as well as the cover art.
