Chris Harrison Speaks Out After 'Bachelor In Paradise' Suspension

After a producer filed a complaint over one 'Bachelor In Paradise' contestant being too drunk to consent, the 'Bachelor' spin-off has been delayed indefinitely.

DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios are apparently the two individuals involved. According to TMZ, a witness at the resort told them that two hours after the sexual activity occurred, Corinne was stumbling, eyes closed and slurring badly. "she was on a whole other level." Corinne is insiting that she was incapable to consent due to her drunken state.

After this news broke Monday, June 12th, Chris Harrison, the host of the franchise, spoke out and apologized for the delay of 'Bachelor In Paradise.' He stated to ABC News, "The safety and care of the cast and crew of our show is of the utmost importance to us." He continues saying, "It is with this thought in mind that we made the decision to suspend filming. It is my sincere hope that we can come to a quick resolution on this and get back to work very soon."

Even with Warner Brothers lawyers interviewing all of the cast members to investigate the alleged "misconduct," it seems clear to at least Chris Harrison that production will continue for this show. Time will tell....
