Halsey says it was at Madison Square Garden that she decided she wanted to be a professional musician.
"I grew up going to concerts here," Halsey told The Elvis Duran Morning Show's Daniell Monaro and Bethany Watson. "It's very cool to see myself in the faces of people in the audience. The first time I ever decided I wanted to make music was at Madison Square Garden."
That was at an Ed Sheeran concert, she says. And three years later, Halsey was playing The Garden herself.
