FreshDirect, is the Northeast's leading online fresh food grocer and today it announced the opening of its FreshDirect Campus in the South Bronx of New York City. This campus will be a brand new facility providing high quality and fresher food for customers.
The facility will have state-of-the-art equipment including: robotic pick towers, smart routing technologies and nine miles of conveyor belt! The facility is environmentally friendly, and highly energy efficient, making FreshDirect make the transition from cardboard delivery boxes to recyclable bags.
