In case you didn't know, Millie Bobby Brown and Drake are basically best friends. In a recent chat with W magazine, the Stranger Things favorite revealed the story of her coincidental run-in with the Canadian rapper last November that developed into a long-lasting friendship.
"I met Drake in an Australian hotel. I was touring and he was touring too," she started, "His manager just came up to my dad and said, 'Drake loves [Stranger Things]. Come to his show tonight.'" Noticeably starstruck, Brown was surprised to learn the Scorpion emcee even knew who she was, let alone that he was a fan of her work. "He was such a fanboy and I was such a fangirl!" she continued. "Honestly, we text all the time now. He helps me with everything … life lessons. He's amazing."
Shortly after their meeting, Drake and Brown made their camaraderie Instagram official after the rhymester posted a snap of them on the platform. "Hawkins Very Own," the caption read as a nod to Stranger Things, on which Brown leads as the teenage telepath Eleven.
The 14-year-old actress went on gushing over Drake’s music, recalling some of her favorite songs like "Hotline Bling" and "In My Feelings” before bursting into song by singing the lyrics to "Passionfruit.” Earlier this month, Brown shared a vid of her dancing to “In My Feelings” with co-star Noah Schnapp as part of the viral “In My Feelings” Challenge.
