eBay Pulls Down Auction For Destroyed Trump Star Fragments

The man who smashed President Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will not be able to get rich by selling fragments of the destroyed star on eBay. Austin Clay had listed the fragments for a minimum bid of $500.

According to TMZ, the online auction site pulled down his listing because it "violated the company's 'Other Illegal Activity' provision -- which prohibits the sale of items or links to items that encourage, promote, facilitate, or instruct others to engage in illegal activities."

Now, Clay will have to find another way to raise money to repair the star he smashed with a pickaxe. Replacing the star will cost around $3,000 and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce expects Clay to foot the bill
