Meghan Markle is over it. After months of bad behavior from her father, Thomas Markle, the Duchess of Sussex is reportedly so done with him. It's completely understandable that Meghan has finally reached the end of the line. In fact, it's pretty impressive that her patience has lasted this long considering her father's seemingly never-ending list of indiscretions.
For those not caught up on all the Thomas Markle drama, here's a quick recap: he reportedly faked a heart attack to cover up being un-invited to the royal wedding, publicly speculated on when his daughter will have children, invoked Princess Diana's name during an interview in a gross attempt to get his daughter to talk to him, and claimed he made her what she is today. In short, he's not winning the father-of-the-year award in 2018.
"A reconciliation is completely off the table at the moment. There's no chance right now–he's been a complete embarrassment," a source close to the royal family told The Daily Mail. The source also claims that Meghan and Thomas have had issues long before she even started dating Prince Harry.
It must be so tough to deal with this kind of family drama playing out publicly for the world to see, though Meghan is trying to take it all in stride. The source said "She's amazed by what's happened but is taking what he says with a grain of salt."
As for the royal family, though, they're reportedly not "as upset as you'd think either. Nothing any of them [the Markle family] say has any real consequence and they [Meghan and Harry] have more important things to focus on."
