The Revivalists have been a band for over a decade, but it wasn't until 2016 that they really broke out into the mainstream rock scene. "Wish I Knew You" quickly infiltrated the radio world and is still spun frequently on rock stations throughout the country. Now fans wait with bated breath to see what the New Orleans collective is going to do next.
On Thursday (August 2) the folk rockers gave a glimpse into their next chapter with a rollicking new single, "All My Friends."
“‘All My Friends’ was really a true collaborative process between all of us,” Guitarist and lead vocalist David Shaw proclaims to Billboard. “This one felt really good and natural. It’s a tune that has all the things we do as a band, all the genres, inside of it. It’s all there.”
As for their upcoming fourth studio album, Shaw chalks it all up to hard work. “This album is a culmination of ten years of just hard work—working on ourselves as musicians, working on ourselves as people, working on ourselves being bandmates," he explains, "because it’s not just eight friends traveling around the world...it’s like we all have seven other significant others.”
The Revivalists' new album is slated for a Fall release. Check out the lyric video for "All My Friends" below.
