Normani & Sam Smith Tease New Collab 'Dancing With A Stranger'

Normani's collab with Sam Smith is almost here!

Last night (December 28), the songbird and soulful crooner surprised their fans with special merchandise promoting the forthcoming release of their new team-up, presumably titled "Dancing With a Stranger."

As seen in images being shared on Twitter, select followers have apparently been sent autographed long-sleeve shirts with the track's title printed in red across the sleeve, along with what appears to be track's lyrics inscribed on its backside.

On the design, the verses read:

I don't wanna be alone tonight

It's pretty clear that I'm not over you

I'm still thinking 'bout the things you do

So I don't want to be alone tonight

Dancing with a stranger.

See the snaps below.

While the former Fifth Harmony member nor the "Too Good at Goodbyes" vocalist have confirmed these details, Genius credits the track will appear on Smith's third studio album, also purported to drop in 2019. What's more, fans are convinced that these are the unofficial instrumentals for the musical project.

Whispers of the musicians' potential duet first came over the summer when Normani's management team S10 tweeted an image of the pair hanging out in August, hinting with the caption, "Studio Vibes." Months after, the songstress officially dropped her two-song EP featuring "Checklist" with DJ Calvin Harris and "Slow Down" featuring Nigerian artist WizKid. She later followed the EP with the release of another collab titled "Waves" with 6black.

This all comes weeks after the 22-year-old hit the 2018 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball stage with Khalid earlier this month and previously announced she'd be joining Ariana Grande's Sweetener World Tour starting in March 2019. (Get the dates and deets here!)
